We stand for the voices that refuse to be boxed in by algorithms or industry gatekeepers. From bedroom producers and rebel poets to visionary DJs and genre-bending bands, Overlooked Tracks amplifies the artistry that might otherwise get lost in the noise.

A place and podcast that thrives on songs in need to be re-experienced and put on heavy rotation – Giving justice to musical gems, playing great songs tells great stories.
On a worldwide scale, this podcast is a cultural bridge:
-
A stage for independent artists to shine beyond borders.
-
A movement for listeners seeking more than just the mainstream cycle.
-
A celebration of diversity, where genres, languages, and local traditions remix into a shared global rhythm.
Our mission is simple: to prove that the underground doesn’t just exist—it thrives, it innovates, and it connects. Every beat is a story. Every track is a community. And every episode is a reminder that the future of music is already here, waiting to be heard.

An Overlooked Tracks Moment: Put in High Gear - Episode #38
Sunday Oct 16, 2022
Sunday Oct 16, 2022
We’re about to go in the opposite direction from the last episode of steady, rhythmic and bluesy to the HYPE, SERIOUSLY INTENSE and about to go HEAD-BANGER OFF SOME EDM or Electronic Dance Music and a sample or two of Techno (which is an element of EDM nowadays). My name is Kenny Chiba and this is an Overlooked Tracks Moment. Haven’t done one of these episodes in a while because it is SO MUCH MUSIC to cover all around the world, but it’s definitely needed to touch on some serious EDM.

Enjoying the End of Summer with the Blues - Episode #37
Monday Sep 19, 2022
Monday Sep 19, 2022
We're gonna tell you right now, this collection of music for this 37th episode of the Overlooked Tracks Podcast is a most difficult episode, and I am know for sure there are some of the greats in Blues Music that will be left out of this list of blues music for the podcast.
After juggling for weeks on what to do with the selection, it was decided the best way to display this fine music genre is to give you a dab of what Blues Music is today – the foundation of great sound and give you again a portion on what Blues Music is heading. If these picks are indication of the future of Blues Music, the music genre is in good hands.Â
Once again, this selection is not a list of the greatest of all time, which is SO impossible to do and such a waste of time, but we’re just going to display a small sample of sound we believe you should get some interest in and see where the rabbit hole can take you.

The Home Stretch - Music from the Eastern Asia and the Middle East - Episode #34
Thursday Jun 09, 2022
Thursday Jun 09, 2022
The magical music bus is on its last trip to the areas of the Middle East and Central Asia and what was found was gold and it was an inspiring trip because of the experience gained from the three episodes broadcasted throughout the globe dedicated to the music being displayed by these artists. Also learned so much history on the importance of music in this part of the world and what type of importance it has this current time.Â
Though it took some digging into the music crates in order to find the music tracks, but again like I stated in the last episode, I am glad I did and that makes it easy for you to simply listen and adore.Â

Still Riding the Magical Music Bus - Episode #33
Tuesday May 24, 2022
Tuesday May 24, 2022
I must tell you that this has been a rough ride in the magical music bus through Central Asia and the Middle East this time around. From the constant digging in the music crates of record shops (both online and the physical stores), that was an adventure in itself. I am telling you ladies and gentlemen, when I tell you there are tons of music in the world, THERE ARE LITERALLY tons of music to discover. From this experience, I, Kenny Chiba am certainly happy to dig and dig and dig some more and communicate with some great musicians desiring to share their craft with the world. Hence, the reason of the Overlooked Tracks podcast – To display and help enhance your music library with music you’ve simply been overlooking.Â

Friday Apr 15, 2022
Hello everyone and welcome to the 32nd episode of the Overlooked Tracks podcast and we are back on the magical music bus focusing on areas like central And southeast Asia and the Middle East and I would honestly say this trip has been quite bumpy. Reason is because though there is so much music in this part of the world, it was hard to buy the music in order to share the music being found. So I had to change it up a little to play music that was made or inspired from the music in Other parts of Asia and the Middle East.Â

The Dynamic Treasures of Africa - Chapter One
Saturday Oct 23, 2021
Saturday Oct 23, 2021
The Overlooked Tracks podcast is back on the road and this time we are exploring the land where the beat, rhythm and style of music began, The continent of Africa. I need to get this out of the way now and apologize for the long absence because there were so many tracks to choose resulting in one the hardest podcast episode we’ve done at this point. It was overwhelming on choosing songs for the podcast because there’s tons of music that’s connected with each country in Africa and it kicked my ass a bit on choosing them.
